cabernet franc
le breton
Le Bouchet is the historical name for Cabernet Franc on the “Right Bank” of Bordeaux, the source of inspiration for this wine.
TASTING Notes
After more than a dozen years of specializing in Cabernet franc on the North Fork of Long Island our increased understanding of this magical variety from differences in clonal selections to viticulture practices and winemaking technique, we believe this is the most profound bottling yet of this style which combines the elegance most often associated with Old World wines and the bright red fruit on the mid-palate that is more typical of New World wines. Le Bouchet was aged for 15 months in one-third new and two-thirds seasoned French oak.
