White Table Wine
Pumphouse’s goal is to bring together a number of varietals in blends to exemplify a ‘clean crisp’ mouth watering white wine. Pumphouse white has lots of fruit and acidity and lots of value for the money.
Tasting Notes
Pale straw yellow in color, zesty citrus notes, lemon peel, quince with hints of green apple and flowery fragrances are apparent in the aroma. The firm acidity gives the wine a pleasant mid-palate balance with a clean refreshing mouth watering finish. It is the perfect cocktail wine that primes the palate for food. It pairs well with all seafood, light pasta dishes and rice courses.
Winemaking notes
Pumphouse white was made entirely in stainless steel, with no malo-lactic secondary fermentation and no barrel aging. The multi-varietal blend is designed for ‘fruit expression’ and to accentuate the vibrant fruit aromas/flavor. In an attempt to retain substantial crisp acidity the majority of the fruit was whole cluster pressed, cool fermented and bottled early to retain its fresh vibrant character.

Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc
