2006 riesling

The Estate Series is Jamesport Vineyards' flagship wine collection. These wines embody the care and dedication to growing the very best fruit in the vineyards, carefully handling it in the winemaking process, and aging or releasing at the optimum time.


Tasting Notes

This Riesling presents a green gold hue, which well displays the refreshing qualities of the variety: crisp acidity and a pronounced mineral character. Layers of fruit aromas include apple, melon, honeysuckle and lychee. The ripeness of the grapes resulted in a great texture with a lingering fruity aftertaste. It pairs wonderfully well with spicy foods such as in Thai cuisine.
