Chardonnay

BOE Chardonnay is made in a Burgundian style, leaner and more fruit-focused than the ubiquitous oaky-buttery new world regimen. Fruit was selected from Wente and Dijon clones. It was stainless steel fermented at cool temperatures, sur lies in-tank with batonnage, partial malolactic fermentation and finished with short aging in French oak.


Tasting Notes

This chardonnay is a golden–hued fusion of mandarin, pineapple, peach, quince and tapioca. Old-world touches of mineral and walnut and the lasting finish remind you of the time that craft and tradition can endure.
